What is Live Stock I hear you ask? Simple; to enable you the customer to see exactly how many of each units we have in our warehouse and available for purchase at that precise moment in time.

The biggest criticism of on-line ordering is retailers advertising stock when they don’t have it, this can happen mainly due to oversell. 99% of our competitors manually change their stock availability, for example the tell–tale signs are that their websites say in stock, 10+ in stock, more than 10 available, never giving you an exact quantity. And if you’re selling even 30+ products never mind such a big product range such as ourselves this becomes a near on impossible task to manage. This leads to customers end up buying products they believe are in stock only to find later on they are not.

The clever bit

The clever bit; Digital First has employed innovative programmers to create this technology that enables you to see what exactly we have in stock, every time a customer places an order for one of our items the stock quantity automatically goes down on our website, whether it be a unit or a bundle. Completed at the end of April 08 we believe you the customer can rest assured you can have the item(s) you require, but be quick, at our prices they will be gone fast!

How often is it updated?

The Digital First Live Stock System is constantly reviewed and amended 7 days a week, every week. It is updated in accordance with our stock availability at the time of amendment. In addition, wherever possible, Digital First will give the customer a forecast date of stock arrival. Although this is not guaranteed, it is there to give advanced information to the customer.

Stock Sourcing Commitment

Digital First is committed to holding a broad range of stock in order to offer our customers the widest and latest range of photographic product and also to enable us to dispatch your order for next working day delivery. With access to over 4,000 products, Digital First has one of the broadest product ranges in the photographic market. To enable us to offer this broad range on-line, we can often source products from the EU Trading Zone in addition to the U.K. distributive network. Not only does this give us continuity of supply but also enables us to give you, the customer, ongoing competitive retail pricing. Digital First wants its customers to get the best deal every time and all the time.

Delivery Schedule

All products if showing in stock are next working day delivery if ordered before 6pm on a week day, all products placed on a weekend will ship on the Monday. Products that show 'this products usually ships in 1-2 days' on the product page ship in 1-2 days and you should allow between 2-5 days for delivery. There are options to upgrade your delivery to pre-9, pre-12 and Saturday delivery on the checkout process, however these are not applicable for products showing a 1-2 day shipment date.
